Introduction

This website for S&W forest was created to help display the various woods that are available for customers.

Process

Creating a Base Template

This WordPress website was created using the Kastell theme but still required some customization such as spacing and alignments.

Slack and Google Drive

Throughout the project, I used Google Drive to save files and images between the team members and clients. This meant making sure the documents and images were properly organized.

I communicate with everyone through Slack in order to provide quick comments and feedback.

SEO

Properly label all images with titles, descriptions, and alt texts. I also made sure that each page has a Keyword with a title and description.

Logic

While creating the website we had to make sure we stuck within the brand guidelines meaning using the colors gold, black and white. I also had to make sure that the website easily the various wood products, projects, about cedar, technical information, about them and contact form.

Solution

Overall, the WordPress website was created to help promote the company so customers can find them online.
