Introduction

Reportex was looking for a cheaper option to create a Lobby Menu. Version 1 was using AppSpace online. There were some stylizing limitations so I found a way to download the opensource file.

Process

First, I looked for the opensource file which was in the dashboard of the AppSpace account. Once it was downloaded it still was connected to the account but now I have the frontend of the code and am able to modify the style. The reason we wanted to modify the style is because we wanted to remove any unnecessary spacing to make sure all the boardrooms fit onto one TV monitor.

Solution

In the end I was able to setup the boardroom sign from the opensource file. However, after a few weeks the opensource got depreciated and it would no longer work. This meant that we had to either pay for AppSpace or create our own lobby menu from scratch. We decided to develop our own lobby menu which is shown in my portfolio and labelled version 3.
